I know I was not ready when the year began but I had to snap into reality because what?! Time passes, with or without my permission

We make promises every day. Others have all sorts of expectations about you – Your family. Your job. Your friends. The society. Even mere acquaintances.
Many run through life fulfilling all these expectations of others, without catching our breath, taking a pause and asking themselves – WHAT EXACTLY ARE MY EXPECTATIONS OF MYSELF?
Take a moment to reflect on your aspirations. If you have none, take some time to set some.
What does success look like for you in 2024? Define your vision with clarity, and set the stage for purposeful action.

Declutter Your Money Space & Embrace Wealth
I had a recurring audible subscription. I love to read my audio books. I mean – Yes Lord! Come on!
However, I also just finished my MBA at Harvard and boy was I exhausted from all the school reading… but I still carried this subscription every other month… and I enjoyed accruing points that I could convert to books. The thrill of it was sufficient for me.
Lord knows I did not need this ~$15 coming from my account monthly because I just did not have need for it – at the time. So! Guess what I did? At the end of 2023, I decided to halt my relationship with audible… Convert all the points I’d accrued over the years into books… Got a few new ones and committed to finishing up ALL OF THOSE BOOK COMMITMENTS, before re-considering my relationship with Audible.
Jeff Bezos wouldn’t miss my lil dollar, I ‘m sure.
So Yes, you heard me.
All of the clutters you carry around because I mean they don’t mean much to you, declutter them… and find that extra $100 to turbo charge your investing or savings plan.
…that is $1,200 in 12 months – and it’s nothing to sniff at.
Foster a positive mindset towards wealth. Focus on abundance and the possibilities that sound financial management brings. A positive mindset empowers you to overcome financial challenges with confidence – whatever they are!

Establish a budget, save consistently, and invest strategically. Where we are on our journey to wealth is really a culmination of our daily habits.
Ditch procrastination! I know. It kills all of us – except those with super powers. But do your best to stay ahead of procrastination this year. Try a little harder. For example, stay on your money dates, at minimum, monthly.
Knowledge is wealth. Commit to continuous learning about YOUR personal finance. Read about investment opportunities, tax strategies, and financial trends in your leisure time [Not every time “Netflix” “Social Media”].
The more you know, the better equipped you are.
